FOR PRECINCT CHAIRS

Your precinct.
Your voters. Your slate.

Precinct chairs are the closest thing to a neighborhood campaign, and until now there was no tool built for that job. Compass has a new account type made just for precinct chairs: every voter in your precinct from day one, block walking and call time, a public slate page, and printable voter cards. Requests are reviewed by hand.

WHAT YOUR ACCOUNT DOES

Everything a precinct chair actually needs.

Your voters, ready on day one

Your precinct's voter file is loaded the moment your workspace is approved. No uploading, no column matching, no cleaning up spreadsheets.

Block walking that works

Cut turf on OpenStreetMap, build walk lists in walking order, and knock doors from any phone, even when you have no signal.

Call time built in

Generate a call list for your precinct, work it one call at a time, and log every outcome and follow-up.

Your public slate page

A shareable page with the candidates you support, election dates, your polling place, and volunteer signups that flow into your people list.

Printable voter card

Download your slate card as a full page, or as a half page you cut down the middle, so one sheet makes two cards for door to door.

Disclaimer handled for you

Your legal political advertising disclaimer is filled in from your name, county, party and precinct, and appears on your page and every card.

YOUR PUBLIC PAGE

One link, ready for your voters.

Your slate page lives at an easy address that fits on a card, like this one:

  • The candidates you support

The chair's oath is to support the party's nominees, and that is not the same as endorsing each one. Your slate is yours to decide: list any candidate on the ballot, whether they use Compass or not.

  • Candidate photos and ballot info

We look up small headshots for candidates on the ballot so your page and cards look sharp. If a photo is missing, you can upload one.

  • Election dates and polling place

The election name, early voting dates, your polling location and its hours.

  • Neighbor signups

Volunteers and yard sign requests from your page flow straight into your people list with the source marked, ready for follow-up.

YOUR DISCLAIMER

Legal wording, filled in for you.

Political advertising has rules, and the disclaimer is the one people get wrong. Your page and every printable card carry the right wording automatically:

Political advertisement paid for by Jane Smith, Harris County Democratic Party Precinct 0813 Chair. Not authorized by any campaign, party, or committee.

Your name, county, party and precinct fill it in, so you never have to type it.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps to your workspace.

1

Send a request

Fill out the form below with your name, county, precinct and party. If you cover extra precincts or districts, say so here.

2

We review it by hand

Every request is read by a real person. Once approved, your workspace is set up with the voters in your precinct, plus any territory you asked for.

3

Sign in and go

Create an account with the email you used to request. Build your slate, cut turf, work your call list and print your cards.
