Effective October 6, 2026
This policy explains what information Compass Campaign collects, how it is used and who can see it.
Account information: your name, email, pronouns, Texas voter ID or not-registered status, and any Volunteer Deputy Voter Registrar numbers you add.
Campaign information: contacts, organizations, voter records, notes, outreach history, walk results and form submissions that campaigns add or receive.
Usage information: sign-ins, edits (recorded in an edit log with who made them) and basic technical data such as browser type.
To run the service, match accounts to the public voter file, keep each campaign's data separate, record who changed what, and improve the product. We do not sell personal information.
Each campaign's private notes, statuses and outreach history are visible only to that campaign's members. Shared voter and organization records are visible to campaigns whose race area or access lists include them.
Your VDVR numbers are visible to you, and to campaigns in the counties where you are a registrar or where you live.
We may disclose information when required by law.
Voter information comes largely from public voter registration records. Its use is limited to election, political and governmental purposes.
We use access controls, per-campaign separation and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your login.
You can update your profile at any time. To request a copy or correction of your account information, email dgreene@trentonhoyt.com.
Compass Campaign does not guarantee that it holds all of the data for your race, district or area. Voter, organization, district, precinct and contact data may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate.
We will ask you to accept any updated version of this policy.
